Inbound Material Handler (Receiving and Stocking)
Inbound freight is received by breaking down merchandise using a barcode scanner to ensure accuracy of receipts. Then, inventory is stocked in specified warehouse locations utilizing the scanners and industrial equipment (forklifts, pallet riders, and reach trucks).
Outbound Material Handler (Order Fulfillment and Shipping)
Outbound departments fill orders for customers while maintaining established quality and production standards in a voice and label picking work environment. Shipping employees build merchandise pallets into a route sequence at customer specification, ensuring an efficient load process that maximizes space utilization.
Administrative (Inventory Control, Data processing, Clerical)
Inventory Control is a dynamic and fast paced department responsible for physical inventory of a distribution center. Inventory Control maintains accurate counting by monitoring inventory movement within a warehouse environment. Data Processing controls outbound workflow, invoicing, material/route manifesting and specific print jobs.
Maintenance (Mechanic)
Maintenance is a department that performs preventive service on all major types of material handling equipment and conveyor systems. This department also troubleshoots and makes repairs and improvements to the building that houses a distribution center.
